I forgot to mention that Naruto's on Cartoon Network now. I wouldn't recommend watching it there if you can help it, though. The dubbing is crappy, and apparently it's been completely cut apart. Parts of scenes just simply aren't there. If you can get it on dvd or something, I'd go that route.

Anyboidy know if "Kite" is any good? i registered for a US DVD website (for unrated stuff that would but cut to shreds in the UK, IE Scrapbook which has almost 20 minutes taken out) and went to the "adult" section and it called it a "Shocking anime filled with sex and violence", tellingly while they put that in the "Adult" section they put notorious Italian shocker Cannibal Holocaust in the normal non adult section XD

I personally like it. i have seen the cut and uncut versions of it, and to tell the truth, the cut stuff adds nothing to the story. just my opinion though.

Paradise Kiss just started. I think episode 3 is out from some subber, but not the one I got the first two from. It's pretty cool. It's about a bunch of seniors in high school, most of which go to an art school and are studying fashion design. They find a girl from another school to be their model. The animation is really cool, and so far it doesn't stay serious for very long. The opening song is awesome. It's based off the manga of the same name, which I haven't read but have been meaning to for a long time.

Ok its not an Anime, in fact its not really "Animated", its completley motion captured and then has CGI characters layered over it, but the French film "Renaissance" is excellent! Its in black and white (no, Black AND White, nothing else!) and has a decent amount of sci-fi technology and stuff about secret genetic experiments. Plus a maverick film Noir-type detective too, and even a cool car chase! The only problem is finding a cinema that shows it, i live near cultured and student-filled Cambridge, but people in small towns in the USA may have a harder time finding a place showing it XD

actually, i think i saw a preview for it on G4 (TechTV), so it may not be as obscure in the US as you make it out to be. i do agree that it looked fantastic though.
