I've not been having much luck with my "stories." Two series were licensed (and subsequently dropped by their fansubbers) within an episode or two of completion.

So, everyone, look for Coyote Ragtime Show and Mushishi to hit stores eventually. They're both good shows, one about supernatural things and the other about adventures in space.

Zar, I hear your one of the people in charge of the anime club that I went to tonight. I've now joined the Springs group  Very Happy

As far as new anime, I don't think I've watched any, really. I'm really happy to see that the Naruto season of endless filler seems to be drawing to a close (maybe). I was without internet for about three weeks, so I've gotten behind on all the stuff that I was watching before.

Yep. I would have been there yesterday, but I was hanging out with others since it is my birthday this weekend. Now that you are with that group, you should be able to see some anime. You could also join up with the Denver Anime Meetup and see what we are up to too. We are having a viewing next weekend in fact.

As for new stuff that is coming out, Definitely take a look at Ergo Proxy. It should be coming out next week on DVD. Unfortunately it is not in it's native HD resolution, but it is a cool series nonetheless.

I probably won't be able to start making treks up to Denver until next month when money's not so tight, which is why I'm heading up for Ben's birthday. I think I'll staying there for the weekend and I'll bring up my collection. But after December I should be able to be more active in the clubs and whatnot.

And happy belated birthday! ^_^ I hope you had fun and stuff.

I've been watching a lot of anime-type stuff lately. The only new-ish anime I've seen recently was Welcome to the NHK!, which is about this guy who is a recluse and his quest to finally get out into the world. It was pretty crazy, and some of the stories hit somewhat close to home for me.

In the non-anime-but-still-Japanese front, Hana Yori Dango live action season 2 started. It'll be interesting to see how this season ends, since the first season ended with the end to the manga series. Sort of.

Also, I've gotten really far into Go Go! Sentai Boukenger (I think that's where the punctuation goes), which is Power Rangers before it goes overseas and gets bastardized. Power Rangers in general is sort of a guilty pleasure of mine, so even though it's going to be completely wrong, I'll probably still watch some of Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive, the English counterpart to Boukenger.

Whoo thread resurection.

Check out MsIgloo. latest thing set in the gundam 0079 universe.
IT's based on the life and times of a zeonic research team during the one year war, so +hot zeonic babes in tight normal suits -that little shit haro or any other sidekick robots.
ggkthx has batch torrents for all six OVA's (igloo hidden war and acopolipse), six eps and well worth the watching.
Two episodes are particularly brilliant, specifically the one dealing with the horribly prototype and explody EMS-10 Zudah and the final battle at Au-Ba-Qua.

This is also the source of that weird mobile pod oggo thats got a recen MG release.
