...and i ran across a web-toy called the TekTek Dream machine.
It's supposed to be used for making GaiaOnline avatars,
but i couldn't resist making some of my own:

well, even if there was some sort of sports equipment (like football pads) i probably could've fudged it...
but i think it's pretty remarkable how close i was able to get each character using only the graphics supplied
(obviously, i did have to make some modifications - i think Ada, Stephan and Anna are the only ones to use stock images)
