well, i've only been checking every other day because i've been a little busy.
i've gotten used to the fact that whatever readers i have out there have no little or no desire to converse with me, share ideas, or offer comments. There are a few exceptions, of course, but generally they're all a silent bunch.
i'm at a loss on how to inspire conversation and/or speculation regarding the comic.

For me, unlike in the past where i was a casual nad thus had limitless free time, mah supprise carreer takes up more tiem than it used to. Plus thers the whole living with mah partner thing. life does this sorta thing

I understand where you're both coming from, but you'd expect with so many users signed up to this forum, some of them would check in and say something once in awhile.

actually, i'm sure a lot of those users have forgotten their passwords and haven't bothered to "renew" their accounts, or only joined in the first place to read a particular thread (and once it was over, they left). i've tried to think of things i could do to increase chatter/participation (ie. contests, thread games & whatnot), but it just feels like only the hardcore users would end up participating.

I have an idea of a contest that would pick things up... Cameo's are big.
Hold some random shit contest or another for a Cameo and have it based on forums, you might even get new users signing up to enter. (Even if the Cameo is the winner saying "Hello, I am.." and being destroyed, an offer of a Cameo always helps.)

I must admit, I've been (much) busier than normal recently, but then I always tend to be more of a forum lurker than regular poster anyhow (seeing as anything other than a short 'me too' post can take me up to a couple of hours to write - I guess I'm just a perfectionist that way   ). I'm still checking out the comic, and really I like the new story idea ('Notes from the Undead').

true, the current was done late last year, but unless you live in Edmonton, you wouldn't have seen it. the only reason i haven't posted anything "new" yet is 'cause i haven't had the time to sit down and draw and entire story so far (too busy with work, etc.) i've got four pages done w/ another pencilled. i simply didn't want to put it up until i was finished
