Heyo, figured since I had an art thread on the last forum I might as well have one here, too ^_^
This thread's for anyone to post their drawings--Deathworld-related or not--for comments or critique (nicely, of course).

That being said,
here
's my latest creation. It's been a bitch to do the lines on my tablet, so it's not going to be colored for some time. She's a character from a story I hope to someday write and/or draw.

that looks real good. has some really nice clean lines, althought, they could be darker, but that can probably be fixed in post. i think i am going to play with it in gimp and inkscape to see if i can vectorize the lines. it will be good practice.

Coolies. I've been working on the lines in Photoshop, but this is just the sketchy original. The arm armor is a pain because it's just plain hard to draw on the tablet.
I need a new, bigger sketchbook. I keep making my drawings too big and then running out of space

thanks you two. sadly, i find it's very rare that i draw non-comic related stuff (hell, it's rare that i draw at all beyond the usual updates), as sometimes they tend to be some of my better work.

I've been slowly slowly working on that last drawing that I put up. I want it to be perfect, so I've been making some changes.
It'll be a long time before I start to color it, I'm thinking.

Very nice Monki. Normaly my tools for art consist of the gimp and various meat cleavers.

Recently, my mom sent me a copy of adobe photoshop cs2. To test it out a bit, I did this:
Then, when I was talking to my mom (or rather, letting her talk to me and adding the occoasional, "Uh huh.") I sketched
this guy
. And then I colored it:
