okay, i guess one of the things that bothers me the most about losing the old forum is that we lost those cool fan-submitted comic ideas.  and with the way i've been somewhat lackluster in getting comics done lately, i'm beginning to wonder if i shouldn't take a bit of a break when this current story is over.  it's always nice to have one-shot comics, and some of the better ones that have been done recently were inspired by suggestions from the readers like you!

Examples: 0413, 0419, 0444, 0454

Anyways, if anyone has any ideas they'd like to share, be it simple gags or full blown scripts, puh-lease help a brotha out!!!  i'll be your best friend!!  Very Happy

well, seeing as how i don't believe in religion, i don't really care about blasphemy.  however, i already make fun of Christmas, and celebrate Hallowe'en, so i don't think i need to add Easter to the roster.  Still, i'm interested to see what you've got in mind.   Evil

hmmmm... i'm guessing no-one has any ideas...

eh, it's probably for the best anyways. Rolling Eyes
not so good to rely on others when it comes to writing the comic.

How about abbie flies around a killbot at super speed un-doing every screw in its body, so it falls apart, so rudenstien tries to find a different way to hold them together. Key gags include "I need a screw" and "Leave my nuts alone" and "Thats riveting master"

A "Deathworld Noir" based on (not a ripoff honest) "The Simping Detective" from the Judge Dredd Megazine, if you can find that in Canada...

"Evenin' name's Blaster, Matt blaster, deathworld private eye, there's only two things i trust on this lousy planet, one's long, hard and makes your ears ring after every shot. th' others my gun..."

actually, i used the "it's got my nuts" joke in a story that i had planned
for Anna in a "Sorcerer's Apprentice" parody.  Not too sure if (or how)
i can use it now...  Neutral

How about cecil's aliens are involved in an AvP-style battle but against giant chickens?, and not shit. Also Matt hasnt used the jetpack for a while, under non-beserk circumstances anyway i think. Oh yeah, feel free to do some more 'local' or university in-jokes, i may live 3000 miles away but i liked them anyway. specially with the explanations which have been added since my first read through of the archive in 2000-2001 or so

An egglord, a baby alien, and a pirate walk into a bar. Beerman the bartender takes one look at them, frowns, points at the egglord and says "Sorry guys. We don't serve his kind in here."

The pirate fixes his good eye on Beerman and says "What? No breakfast menu?!"
